So, I was recently featured on a podcast!
One of my favorite things about blogging is that it gets me out of my comfort zone and pushes me to meet and interact with new people. Not that I was the shiest person before, but these days, I find myself making an effort to introduce myself to new people, start conversations, and network and put myself out there.
That’s actually how I met my new friend, Cynthia Spitalny. I had just finished a lagree session at Studio Physique when I ran into Cynthia, a Philly transplant, podcaster, hustler, and all-around badass. She recently moved to The Burg and was still getting used to her new surroundings. Been there, done that. Having some familiarity with being new in town myself, I exchanged info with Cynthia and we quickly became friends.
Goal Magic Podcast
So, the podcast. Cynthia, along with awesome entrepreneur Brennan Lukas, hosts Goal Magic.
Goal Magic is an epic podcast that you need to subscribe to if you haven’t already. Why am I such a big fan? Because they feature stories and conversations (like mine) of hardship and triumph from regular young adults and millennials. Hearing from people like me with similar personal and work backgrounds who are now successful is encouraging for me.
In our episode, Cynthia and I discuss all things life, from my upbringing in California as a first-generation Nigerian American, to the crazy work move that brought me to the Sunshine City, and finally some Belle In The Burg talk and what’s in store!
I can literally blab all day about that episode, but I think you’re better off listening for yourself.
